The Pet Family
Pets N Suds is proud to say our employees are very loving animal providers. We strive to employ those who are passionate for the well-being of animals, and who share the same goal to rescue them. We would like to share our personal experiences and help demonstrate the importance of rescuing animals with our community.
Below are pictures of our employee’s pets.
Owner’s daughter, Stephanie has adopted Love Puppy! Love is a short haired black chihuahua, and is Stephanie’s pride and joy! Love is now 8 yrs old, weighs 4.5 lbs. She is loving, very smart and regal. We are very happy to have Love apart of the family.
Honey, a long haired Chihuahua, is a true loving rescue of owners Jen and John. She was brought into us in bad shape, including poor dental care, Pneumonia and weighing only 2 lbs. After antibiotic treatment, She had a hernia and had to have surgery. Once she recovered and had 8 teeth removed, Honey began eating and gained weight. Unfortunately Honey still has seizures. Honey is doing well now, weighing 4 lbs with soft and healthy hair. Honey maintains her greeter status..as she greets and meets everyone who comes into the store.
One of Jen and Johns’s newly adopted dogs, Mandalay Bay! Bay is a German Shepherd mix puppy, who was rescued from a storm drain on March 15th, 2012. Bay was found with 6 of her brothers and sisters as well as with a second litter of 5 Australian Shepherd mix puppies. She is 7-weeks-old in this photo.
This is Bella, a domestic short hair cat and furry companion to store owners Jen and John. Bella was abandoned by her own mother and brought into our store to become a bottle-fed rescue. She is now 6 yrs old and thinks she can climb walls. Bella has many nicknames including B-la, Bees knees, and Beezie weezie to name a few.
This is “Chessa” She is a Torbie!
She was born in September of 2012. Michael (Jennifer and John’s oldest child) and Yana (His wife) rescued her from a shelter when she was only 2 months old.
She was found abandoned by her mother, out in the cold of Canada. She was pretty timid and scared of people at first but she has come a long way.
She now lets us hold her(for short periods of time) and loves to be near us, just not ON us.
She is a great cat and has her own signature sound…”Mrrr”
She has truly brought lots of joy and happiness to our lives.
This is Cara Mia, Mia for short. Mia is now 3 years old. Owner’s youngest daughter, Cynthia rescued her from East Valley Shelter 2 years ago. She loves to run and play with her furry friends! She has a forever loving home with the family.
